Botetourt County
“The development of a portion of Botetourt County is taking
an important step forward. Recently the Daleville Town Center opened the doors
on a new apartment complex, the first in the county. The first of four
buildings is now open to renters with the second expected to open before
spring. It's an important step for an area that's seen its fair share of
struggles over the last few years.
‘We really do see things coming together in a real positive
way here,’ said Fralin & Waldrin Vice President of Development Steve
Claytor, the company that owns and operates the town center. ‘Certainly to be
able to get our financing in place for this apartment component of Daleville
Town Center.’
25 percent of the soon to be 120 unit complex are rented. Claytor
said they are also looking to bring in more businesses and a second restaurant
to the town center.”
